The surface book does NOT like being disconnected from the base while connected to the dock, if its 'projecting' to the other screens when I disconnect, 100 of the time the clipboard simply. I've also noticed that the app keeps telling me to update the driver after doing so. So it makes me think that updating through the GeForce app is causing the computer to not recognize the Nvidia graphics card anymore. Surface Book 2 comes with Windows 10 Pro edition. The company is now offering a cheaper model without LTE connectivity for 900, and notes that Windows 11 should improve app compatibility on the ARM-based Microsoft SQ2 processor thanks to. ![]() I realized I updated through the GeForce app 10/22, but didn't use my computer again until recently, which was when I noticed this whole issue. I had to go through a whole process of uninstalling the Nvidia card drivers and installing Surface Book 2 drivers in order to have it to be detected again, because every other method wasn't working for me. ![]() I know it's a longtime issue of the graphics card not being detected on Surface Book 2, and typically I'm able to restart my computer to have it reappear, but now I think there's an issue with updating through that GeForce Experience app. Want to know if anyone else is having this issue/help anyone who might be. According to Microsoft, the Surface devices that are eligible to upgrade to Windows 11 include the following list.
